Trained in Science and Clinical Genetics, Dr. Rajni Khajuria got her Master of Science degree in Human
Genetics from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, India.
She completed her Ph.D and Post-doctoral research in the field of Clinical Genetics in the Genetics Division of Dept. of Pediatrics, AIIMS, New Delhi under the mentorship of Dr. Madhulika Kabra, to establish Molecular Diagnostics and Prenatal testing for Rare Disease, Rett Syndrome in the country.
She has been working in the field of Clinical genetics for more than 19 years with handling diverse specialities including R&D, Prenatal, preconception, preimplantation, Genetic counselling and
reproductive genetics. She has published in the multiple peer-reviewed specialist journals in the field, books chapters as well as delivered numerous lectures at conferences worldwide. She has published and
reviewed various peer review journals and book chapters and delivered numerous lectures at several national and international conferences/meetings. She is also a member of multiple national and
international societies/associations focused on medical/clinical genetics, Rare diseases, fertility, reproductive genetics and genetic counseling.
Earlier she was heading clinical operations at Progenesis India (part of Progenesis Inc.) as DirectorClinical Genomics & Scientific Affairs. Before that she was affiliated to Igenomix India as Laboratory Director and Genetic consultant and was instrumental in setting up the first genetic laboratory in the country offering advanced services of Preimplantation Genetic Testing. Her special interests are Preimplantation
Genetics Testing, Genetic counseling, Prenatal Diagnosis, Pre-conceptional screening, Reproductive Genetics, Disease Awareness, Rare genetic disorders, Quality and regulatory compliances in clinical operations and Patient Advocacy.
